A warm and welcoming backcountry base with views that make the effort worth it. This cozy cabin is where our group unwinds, shares meals, and settles in after full days on snow.
This day is focused on mastering uphill travel, snow awareness, and efficient movement. Build the confidence you need so the downhill powder feels earned and unforgettable.
Inside the cabin, you’ll have time to slow down and learn in a comfortable setting, ask questions, and draw from your instructors’ experience. It’s an easygoing environment that builds confidence and creates the kind of camaraderie that makes these trips memorable.
Day 1: Meet, gear check, and travel to Carner’s Cabin. Afternoon hut orientation and field instruction.
Day 2: Classroom-style sessions paired with field time outside the door, focusing on planning and movement.
Day 3: Morning field objectives, debrief, and return to trailhead by 4:00 PM.
